Hey, I want to talk about something that most freestyle dancers feel, but not many talk about. The loneliness of practice.

We all have that fire, that passion that drives us. But the reality is, most of our time is spent alone in a studio or in our living room, trying to stay consistent, trying to stay motivated... and it can be tough.

We join online groups, thinking they'll be the answer. But most of the time, they just feel like another thing to keep up with. There's a burst of energy at the beginning, and then... it goes quiet. It becomes a digital ghost town, a place you join with excitement and then forget you're even a member.

I know this because I almost made that mistake in the past, and thanks to you, I didn't.

You see… When I first started Beyond The Moves, I thought my job was to create more courses, more content, more information. I was ready to build a huge library of tutorials. But about a year in, I sent a survey to my members, and I asked them a simple question: "What do you want next?"

To my surprise, almost no one asked for more content.


What they asked for was more interaction. More connection. More time with each other.

That was the "aha!" moment that changed everything for me. It's when I realised that the true value of BTM wasn't just in the information I was teaching; it was in the proximity we were creating.

And that's why I've created something new. Something that gets to the very heart of what we all crave as dancers.

The BTM Circle is our global practice spot. It's an online community designed around one thing and one thing only: tangible, live interaction.
This isn't another forum where you post videos and wait for likes. This is a space where you show up, you practice, and you connect with a global family of dancers in real-time.

These are the heart of the BTM Circle. Several times a week, we host live sessions on Zoom. We put on the music, and we send you into breakout rooms with other dancers from around the world to just... exchange. To practice. To dance. Once a month, you'll get exclusive access to a special live cypher that was previously reserved only for our main BTM Community members. (I'm not promising you'll find love, we are made for that 😅 but it's proof that amazing things can happen!)

The bonds are so strong that one of our long-term members, Lee, flew all the way from America to Paris for a single weekend, just to be at one of our events. That's the power of proximity.

When are the live BTM Cypher sessions held?

To serve our global community, we launch with a consistent weekly schedule designed to cover multiple time zones. As the community grows, we will be adding more session times based on member feedback.

Our initial schedule is:

• Wednesdays at 6:00 PM London Time (Ideal for Europe & America)

• Thursdays at 12:00 PM (Noon) London Time (Ideal for Europe & Asia/Australia)

• The BTM Cypher Classic takes place on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM London Time.

Is this community only for Hip-Hop dancers?

Not at all! The BTM Circle is a freestyle environment open to dancers from any background. Whether your style is house, popping, contemporary, or something completely your own, you are more than welcome. As long as you want to express yourself and grow as a freestyle artist, this is the place for you.

Can I attend just one session or is there a commitment required?

You're welcome to attend just one session to see if it's a fit for you. However, consistent attendance can offer you the most growth in your dance journey.

I'm a beginner. Will I be good enough for this?

Absolutely. This space is for everyone who is passionate about their growth, regardless of their current level. We have a very supportive culture, and you'll be practicing with dancers from all stages of their journey.

I'm an advanced dancer. Is this just for beginners?

Not at all. The goal of the BTM Circle is connection and consistent practice, not just technical instruction. Advanced dancers find immense value in the accountability, the opportunity to exchange with a diverse group of international dancers. If you have a supportive spirit and a love for the community, you will fit right in.

I'm an introvert and a bit shy. Is this going to be awkward?

I completely understand this because I'm an introvert myself. I don't love small talk, which is why this community is designed around a shared activity: dance. The breakout rooms are low-pressure; you just put on the music and exchange. For me, the first connection through movement works best, and many of our members feel the same way. It's a space designed for genuine interaction, not forced socialising.

What's the difference between this and the main BTM Academy/Community?

Think of it this way: The BTM Circle is our global practice spot. It's where we show up to stay consistent and connect with each other. The BTM Academy is our in-depth classroom. It's the structured, 66-week program where you get detailed lessons, personal feedback, and direct coaching from me. The Circle is the perfect complement to the Academy, but it is not a teaching program.

Will Nickel be in every session?

I will personally host the "BTM Cypher Classic" once a month, which is a special session where you'll get to learn from the live coaching I provide to my Academy members, seeing how they work through their challenges and achieve breakthroughs in real-time. For the other weekly cyphers, they will be hosted by my sister or a trusted BTM community leader, and I'll be popping in to say hi and join the exchange whenever I can! My goal is to facilitate the community, not to be the center of every single ​

What if I have technical issues like a bad internet connection?

We understand that technology can be unstable sometimes. While our sessions usually run very smoothly, if you ever get disconnected, you can simply rejoin the session. The goal is a low-pressure practice environment, so there's no need to worry about a perfect connection.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Yes, absolutely. There are no long-term contracts. You can easily cancel your £5/month subscription at any time.
